I purchased a mint Subaru 1997 V4 STI Type R in 2009, which had been modified for fast road use. Looking at the car and spec once I got it into the workshop, I decided to make a race car on a budget so that I could go racing in a few series, Euro Saloons – Time Attack – Dunlop Saloons

The main changes were going to be

But once again I got carried away and the budget went out the window and a full on dedicated race car build was underway to compete amongst the very best cars in these series and gain some podium results.
