Mazda RX7 FD3S Magnum Performance Race Car Build

I picked up a 1992 Mazda FD3S in great condition of Jason, I got it into the workshop and started the strip down to a bare shell so that I could begin with the race car build for Time Attack.

I proceeded with taking out the engine and stripping it down to a bare block and Jason took parts away to begin the engine re-build so that I could crack on with the shell preparation.

Jason (JAYDEE) is a rotary specialist who builds the core engines for the RX7 and working with him on our car gained me a deep understanding of how to build (either standard or full on race bridge port) the famous rotary engine.

With the Core engine built and a big pile of Japanese tuning parts on the floor of the workshop I cracked on with the build.
